Opro's patented, unique slat technology is used here. With Opro there is no gel inside the mouthguard shell, but rather raised slats (fins). These fins are then distributed by the teeth as they adjust in the hot water and wrap around the bit to ensure maximum protection. This prevents excess gel, which usually escapes to the side in commercially available mouthguards, from disrupting the fit and comfort.
The innovative stretch zones (three small notches distributed over the edge of the mouthguard) also ensure that the shell can expand with a wide set of teeth and contract with a narrow set of teeth. This will result in the perfect mouthguard for everyone.
Furthermore, the Opro-Platinum mouth guard comes with a patented “fork” so that you can easily remove the mouth guard from the hot water using the handle. In addition, the serrations of the handle ensure that you cannot bite through the mouth guard when adjusting it, so you can adapt the Opro-Platinum perfectly to your teeth with maximum pressure and maximum bite.
