Serge "Bavarian Sniper" Michel – Interview
Discover Serge's journey from a boxing gym kid to Olympian, professional boxer and bare-knuckle champion.
Boxing was practically part of my life from the very beginning. My father founded our boxing club in 1998, when I was just ten years old. I spent countless hours in the gym, playing around with the older fighters before I eventually started training myself. At first, the gym felt like one big playground, but by the age of 12 I was already stepping into the ring. I fought my first boxing match in 2000 - and won. Looking back, I never really decided to become a boxer. It simply became part of who I am.

Paffen Sport.
Ringlife, Ringlife... and Ringlife.
At my own gym, Bavarian Bulls Fightclub.
Experience is priceless. The only downside is that you pay for it with your youth.
Small mistakes often have big consequences. That's why, for me, there are no such things as minor details.
Thank you for shaping me into the person and fighter I am today.
Since I'm competing in bare-knuckle boxing, Ringlife Combat Series (RCS) is my number one. It's where I recently won my championship title. BKFC is another promotion that really excites me, and I'd love to win a title there in the future. Top Dog FC in Russia also holds a special place for me - I've never experienced an adrenaline rush quite like fighting there.

A mouthguard. Everything else can be borrowed if necessary - but never your protection.
